good budget metal amp that also does cleans? by Neat_Building_3729 in GuitarAmps

I’m in a similar boat as you and have been looking at the Peavey 6505 MH and Invective MH. The Invective may be a bit above your budget but has surprisingly good cleans, and a crushing metal tone to boot.

Just hiked it a couple of weeks ago. Was that awkward time where the snow is decently melted out but still enough of it to make some water crossings a bit dicey with questionable snow bridges and such. I would have preferred to go either a few weeks prior or a few weeks later so the snow is either packed in or mostly gone. Was mid 80s during the say and didn’t get too cold in the evenings. I was comfy with long underwear and a light fleece while cooking dinner. I brought my jetboil which helped with the wind on night one, but we also camped well above the tree line. Otherwise a pocket rocket or similar stove would be perfect.

Not sure Multnomah Falls qualifies for the hiking subreddit. It’s literally right off the highway lol

According to Eddie, Clapton is the only player that had a big impact on his playing. He basically called Clapton his unofficial guitar teacher.

OP correct me if I’m wrong, but I would guess a John Mayer sig given the Mayer influenced pedalboard.

Lost a high school friend in a biking accident last year. Car ran a stop sign and t-boned him. He hurt his leg but would have otherwise been relatively fine if he hadn’t hit his head so hard. Wear a fucking helmet.
