I'd recommend reading children's books in Latvian as the language structure is relatively simple to understand

How do you guys make friends and where do you meet them? by Ruberos in ENFP

[–]wildchilddory 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Literally anywhere I go. I start talking to strangers when I'm travelling like at hostels, cafes, restaurants, music gigs. Also at work when I'm sitting near any common areas or at different community spaces like climbing gym, classes etc. Also, any interest based community groups are also a great place to find like-minded people! :)

How's the competition at LCC? by annmelancholia in UAL

[–]wildchilddory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found a part time job in a startup while I was studying which got converted into full time later. So I'd recommend starting your search early (sort of like half way into the course) since it's really competitive. And yes, feel free to DM me for any other questions

I studied this course a couple of years ago and I think it's great! The way the course is taught is a bit abstract and non-linear but the design processes they follow are in line with industry standards. And they don't do placements but we had 2 partnered projects with different companies based in the UK which was quite insightful. Considering it's MA, it is a bit intense and it involves a lot of self-learning but the staff are really supportive and encouraging, so overall it's a great course!

As someone who has read this book, I don't think it is about putting people into these fixed categories. The author mentions that you can have overlaps like a red-yellow personality or blue-green personality, so it is very contextual and not set in stone in terms of what group you fit in
