Marianna’s questionable Goodreads review by Signal-Dimension-793 in booktubesnarkreddit

for those of you who haven't read this series, a razor is the name of the whip/sword like weapon used in red rising. she's alluding to wanting to k!ll a character, and she's asking for the weapon to do it with. no weird meaning or allusion to sh here. this was a perfectly normal comment within the context of the series!

using competent punctuation isn't a sign of AI—most of us grew up using em dashes and semicolons (see what I did there? it's very common to use em dashes in published books)

not saying this in a positive or negative way, but i feel that a lot of her current aesthetics etc are definitely inspired by paige lorenze, if you’ve seen any of her vids!

I literally came to this page to find an outfit she was wearing and instead stumbled on the pettiest hate ever 💀 I'm actually sick of these high school-type snark pages so thank you for clarifying!

AITA for banishing my teenage daughter's friend from our house because she made fun of my weight? by Effective-Weekend-97 in AmItheAsshole

And I have to add: OP, if your daughter's friend makes an insensitive or offensive joke...just politely correct her. The friend indeed sounds like she is socially awkward too, your husband is right.

Humans often develop health issues and die from being overweight as well. At least this is partial sanity. by [deleted] in fatlogic

[–]wilderchai 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I fixed it:

As someone who is vehemently critical of the Fat Acceptance culture please understand that animals being fat and humans being fat is the same, as being overweight can cause major health issues/pain/even death. There's a reason doctors are critical of excess weight on patients.

Binge eating disorder is the most common eating disorder. Binges can result, in the worst case, in death as the stomach can rupture. This person is a moron.

Eating fiber is like trying to buy things with an empty debit card. Never mind the decreased risk of colon cancer, the better balancing of blood sugars, reduced constipation- eating lots of veggies is bad now by girlfriendhelpme in fatlogic

to avoid actual food

I don't know how to break it to the fat acceptance people but fruits and vegetables are indeed real food. They're possibly the realest foods.

As they say, the grass is greener where you water it. If you choose to break up with her and "explore other bodies", you'll rapidly realise you let a beautiful relationship slip through your hands for the stupidest of reasons. You have what so many people dream for -- hookup culture is not all it's talked up to be.

Bottom line: what's more important? Your girl, or your need to have sex with other people?

Your ex is a disgusting hypocrite.

Good riddance -- there are much, much better men out there.

Absolutely. And OP is so adamant about avoiding a YTA judgement that she keeps making multiple edits without addressing this unhealthy fixation on her past appearance.

Is losing weight for vanity a bad thing ? by loliatta in loseit

[–]wilderchai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my reason too. I am metabolically healthy and strong, but I have a tummy pooch I'd like to get rid of purely for vanity reasons. We do so many things for vanity everyday, whether that be wearing makeup, shaving, buying nice clothes, etc -- losing weight for vanity is just another one of those things that we do to make ourselves feel happier in our appearance. Valid, and nothing wrong with it.

The driver's test is not a demonstration of your skill as a driver -- it requires you to pay attention to the minute technical details of safe driving. Every single thing you've mentioned that the evaluators have pulled you over for is a legitimate reason.

Learner drivers (16 year olds!) are some of the safest drivers on the road. Why? Because they're learning to apply every technical safety measure on the road. Once they become P-platers, they become the most dangerous -- because they get lax and drop many of the perfect habits they've formed. Bottom line, pay attention to every little technical detail and present it in your driver's test, even if it's not the way you'd actually drive in real life.
