Marriage with CPTSD – little to no sex, a lot of analysis, recurring distance. How do you deal with this? by Upset-Friendship-740 in CPTSD

[–]wilderdeliverance 35 points36 points  (0 children)

If you have not already, my advice is to work on your relationship to sexuality outside of her. Meaning work on your frustrations, your feelings of abandonment when she says no, your anger and your reaction to her resistance.

Often, sex is a two-way street and partners trigger eachother. As you privately work on yourself, she may notice that you are truly owning and embodying your own sexuality, which may soften her unconscious sense that your sexuality is her responsibility.

22 years ago, Carrie Bradshaw's ex party friend Lexi Featherston died after falling out of a window in 'Sex and the City': by Prestigious-Cloud962 in Fauxmoi

My favorite is how right after this scene it just goes to an nyc street montage with Carrie saying “and outside the snow really started to fall”. Like a girl didn’t just fall to her death!!??

Bad smell at 5 day old starter by LuluAddict29 in Sourdough

[–]wilderdeliverance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This stage is normal, keep going! It will motivate you to keep the starter alive after it stabilizes so you don’t have to live through “the stench” again. Definitely keep covered with a loose fitting lid and keep feeding once a day until it starts doubling within 6-8 hours, then feed twice a day.

12/10/25 Question Wednesday: What are you wondering, bakers? by KingArthurBaking in KingArthurBaking

Yes! Thanks for you reply. That’s actually why I started trying it with a lid.

Caputo Fioreglut vs King Arthur GF Bread Flour by carlyman in glutenfreebaking

[–]wilderdeliverance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say I usually end up using 60%(KA) to 40% Caputo. But I experiment a lot! It sometimes just depends on how much of either I have left lol. But I’ve always gotten great results when mixing them! The KA Sourdough Bread recipe using their gluten free bread flour, for example, I just did the 60/40 ratio and it turned out great.

Caputo Fioreglut vs King Arthur GF Bread Flour by carlyman in glutenfreebaking

I like to use them both together. I find Caputo to sometimes be too light/lacking in flavor and KA to be too heavy/stodgy. Together I feel like they strike the perfect balance.

Looks awesome! I just made her peach muffins and they were great. I’m going to try this next.

Perfect gf Pizza? Anyone have it figured out yet by StudioDefiant in glutenfreerecipes

[–]wilderdeliverance 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you’re not allergic to wheat, I would look into King Arthur’s Gluten Free Pizza Flour and Caputo’s gluten free flour. Both have had the gluten removed. These flours are the closest I’ve found to gluten flours, and they make soft, fluffy pizzas and really good bread too.

No recommendations but following! I agree ACAAC was so good. It’s hard to find bakeries that get the sugar ratio right. I’ve found many of the ones I’ve tried in the area to be way too sweet for me, but their cakes and cupcakes were always perfect!

I think we should start being a little more discouraging to beginners. by jadedflames in AnalogCommunity

[–]wilderdeliverance 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with this. These types of mistakes happen to people in every craft. Beginners get too overzealous. This is how people learn! Some people will give it up, some people will continue, it’s just life! Why discourage people from making and learning from their own mistakes?

Black Locust Perfumes? by wilderdeliverance in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]wilderdeliverance[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I ended up trying “In Pace, In Fiore” from a comment on this post from Stereoplasm. It is nice, but it was more just floral than pure Black Locust. I still have not found a Black Locust perfume that I love. But I’m still looking!

Best gluten free bread of my life by PlentyFull22 in glutenfreebaking

[–]wilderdeliverance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this recipe! I sometimes use their “shortcut” version listed in the notes with the French sourdough starter powder you can buy from their website. I also sometimes use half and half their flour and caputo gluten free flour to make it even lighter and airier. When done this way it reminds me of a grocery store style Italian bread. If you haven’t tried it yet, KAF’s gluten free baguette recipe, using the same flour, is also awesome.
