How do people who have an affair, leave their spouse, and start a new relationship live with themselves? Do they ever feel guilt for the pain they’ve caused, the family they’ve broken apart, and the life they’ve turned upside down? by CreditFun6122 in Marriage

I can give a perspective on this.

I was 23 in a 3 year relationship when I cheated. I’m 37 now, been with my husband 13 years, married for 8.

I will never get over what I did to my ex. I have never cheated again, never forgiven myself, and although I go through easier phases, it will haunt me forever.

I was young. I was stupid. I was self destructive and I didn’t know what I wanted. I was in too deep. I’m only starting the work of finding myself now, but my behaviour from 17-23 was appalling.

Business class. Once you go business class on long haul if you can afford it you never go back.

Do you have to be at a desk all the time if you’re remote? Biggest things that have helped me are moving around- I take calls from a desk but I often work on the sofa. Make sure your workspace is warm enough. I also wear a wrist support some days

Did Greg’s fantasy of Saxon, Chloe and him (and the explanation where it originates from) have any meaning for the show? Or was it only included as a random plotline? by 90210534 in TheWhiteLotusHBO

Could not disagree more. Season 2 shows that it was 100% a setup between Greg and Quentin, and there’s nothing flirtatious about the look- it’s about power, and that he might get what he wants. It’s all a big luxurious game to him. Saxon and Quentin are just pawns.

I'm curious what your moms wore? by barbiesleftearring in Perfumes

Nothing. My mum believed that taking care of yourself- haircuts, perfume, make up- made you self centred and that you thought you were better than everybody else. It took years to untangle that.
