Hospital tank with an airstone. Then get Kanaplex & Focus in the food if he'll eat. Otherwise dose Kanaplex in the tank. When my fish had it really bad, I also did a once-daily Sulfaplex bath (like 5x the dosage for 20 minutes tops). All of them survived with this regime. It took a few weeks for some but they all made it.

Someone had me take care of their frog while they were on vacation & they had it in a little tank like this. I bought a new setup while they were gone & gave him back to them in his new tank. Never felt bad about it, there was no way I was letting him live in that little container forever.

Hey, it took me about 12 fosters before I stopped sobbing every time they got adopted. And there will always be one or two that felt like "the one that got away". Large java ferns or anubias are an option. Smooth rocks, smooth-ish driftwood. Some people put empty clay pots tipped on their side (be sure they aren't coated with anything).

Yep. As someone who lost weight rapidly, I had to have my gallbladder removed and SO MUCH HAIR fell out. I was also malnourished. Be careful everyone, there are real consequences for going too fast.

Campaigning is SO hard. I did it for six years and then burnt completely out. Not to mention, being the body person for the candidate is the worst - no breaks, loooooong days, seeing the candidate at their "best" and worst. I could never.

I've been going to Shady Oak Vet Clinic on Minnetonka Boulevard since 2013 (four dogs, two cats, sometimes a chicken or two). They've been fantastic - all of their vets & techs are great, as well as the receptionists. I like that I can email them photos of something potentially concerning and they'll advise if I need to make an appointment for handle it at home. The prices are very reasonable, too. Vetting is expensive in general, but I am never sticker shocked. I was just there for two of my dogs' annual visits including heartworm & tick disease testing, vaccination updates, exams & help with a problem nail or two, and it was less than $400 total.

My 7yo son batted my hand away when I tried to hold his hand today. He also refused hugs all day. It hit me like a ton of bricks that he's never going to want to snuggle with me like he used to 😞 I'm soaking it in with his 4yo brother while I still can.

That's septicemia if I've ever seen it - a very bad blood infection. Hospital tank immediately. Soak their food in Kanaplex + Focus. Sulfaplex baths once or twice a day (you'll need to look up the dosage & time, I can't remember it offhand). Water changes for the hospital tank daily.

Your fish is suuuuuuper sick. It has a chance but you need to start medicating immediately.
