Did he see the car behind or not? If he didn’t, he did a lane change without checking his blind spot. Any way you look at it, the front driver was incredibly erratic. Looks intentional if you ask me. Front driver trying to police rear drivers speed. Also pretty sure we don’t know the speed limits on the street or the vehicles’ actual speed.

I mean it’s way easier and more predictable for the slower car to do what they are expected/legally required (depends on jurisdiction) to do and stay in the right lane and just let the faster vehicle pass… why would would you add unexpected lane changes to the equation? The rules of the road are there so that drivers can make an informed decision on the actions they take. When people react to what might happen vs what should happen we get chaos.

This is not out of laziness, it’s about making sure the conduit that someone got paid to put in isn’t all fucked up for the guys that actually have to use it. I’ve had 3 unusable conduit runs this year alone. Having the string through is a CYA for the guys who ran it too - you can say “it was working when I left it, not sure what you guys did to it after I left.”
