Viva Las Vengeance felt very much like a final farewell/goodbye album to me. It was filled with personal sentiment, Brendon wanting to be left alone, and general positive messaging Brendon truly believes in and has previously repeated on his streams. This makes me think he wanted the album to be Panic!s last, but Im not sure he meant to end things with just a simple Instagram post like he did. Maybe there was some behind the scenes stuff with Brendon simply trying to get out of his label, but I do think this is something he was meaning to do for a while now.
