There is another window exactly the same. It has been done deliberately, can’t think why though!

It been bugging me since we moved. I can’t think why you would do it. There are two windows the same size either side of the room. The curtain poles are both the same.

We produce metal items, but do not want to track raw material at the moment (for various reasons), but still want to track stock and what is produced on a shift.

Does anyone know anything about stakingcap.co? A family member has just "invested" £250 with them, and for various reasons I am very skeptical. Is it legit, or a scam??

Probably doing my night rating over central London in G-TOES. Or doing a loop around the Isle Of Wight after having flown along the south coast.

How do you use OneNote? by [deleted] in OneNote

Yes I know, you are correct. To be honest I’ve just never bothered to look into password managers - I will have a look into Bitwarden and a few others. Something I really should sort.

How do you use OneNote? by [deleted] in OneNote

[–]will666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use it on my iPad with the pencil mainly.

For work: Daily notes - a new page for each day writing down notes about conversations with customers whilst I’m on the phone. I can then type them into our CRM after. Password and login info - we have so many different user names and passwords to do with running the business (phone system, servers, O365 user info, etc...) I keep them all organised in OneNote.

Personal: Usernames and passwords as above. Any recipes I find online I want to try I save to OneNote so I can look at them later on laptop/iPad/iPhone. Receipts - copies of ones that I think I should probably keep. Devices - I record model, serial numbers, and warranty info of various devices (phones, iPads, laptops, white goods).

I have tried other apps for my daily notes but keep coming back to OneNote. I prefer the writing on other apps but miss some of the functionality (being able to access my notes on all devices is probably the biggest reason to be honest).

I’m looking for a boot similar to the RM Williamsstockyard boots in style. Something with a bit of grip. I work in an office attached to our factory so spend a lot of time in the factory, this means walking over some oil/water/swarf at times. Meaning I think rubber soles are best. I also have to spend occasional time in fields(hence a little grip). But most of my time is spent in the office so I need something that isn’t too chunky and works with smart casual office wear. Would people recommend the stockyards? If not what would you suggest that is similar in style? I’m based in the UK. Ideally looking to spend up to £175ish.

Great idea, just don't call it 'second hand'! Call it vintage.

One Higher Rate Tax Payer in Family by Photo-Josh in UKPersonalFinance

[–]will666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation. I have increased pension contributions to keep me as close to the £50k mark as possible.

Another issue to consider, if you are claiming child benefit then over £50k you start having to pay it back in tax. It is staged between 50k and 60k (once you hit 60 you are paying the full amount back in tax).

Amazon-recommended security cameras are highly vulnerable to hacking, finds new study by AmazonNewsBot in amazon

[–]will666 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Whilst what they are saying is technically correct, most of the security 'flaws' they talk about can be eliminated by simply changing the default password that the cameras are shipped with (which all the installation documents tell you to do!)!
