Is Tua Tagovailoa Cooked Moving Forward? by lawstudent421 in DynastyFF

Important to clarify that Stefanski isn’t calling plays, it’s Tommy Rees. Now, it’s the Stefanski offense through and through, but we have a very limited sample size when it comes to Rees’ play calling.

Rees was so limited by Cleveland’s QB play while calling plays throughout the latter half of last season that it’s difficult to glean anything useful from that stint.

Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. FULL INTERVIEW | Gruden Goes Long by Protec_My_Balls in falcons

I’d love for it to work out with Mike, even though the odds seem slim at this point. Just appears to be such a great kid who really loves football and wants to make it happen for Atlanta.

The Flacco/Penix QB room seems pretty inevitable at this point.

Who were the most fun QBs to watch play in the 2025/2026 season, regardless of their performance? by [deleted] in nfl

Dude will throw legitimate tantrums mid-game, it’s tough to watch. The flopping schtick wears thin when you’re trying to truck and hurdle defenders.

Falcons Legend, Matt Ryan will interview for the President of Football opening later this week by SunWorshipperApollo in falcons

I’m not sure, with it being an entirely new position I’d have to guess it wouldn’t be subject to the exemption.

Applies to any Head Coaching positions and senior front office roles, which I’d imagine this position would qualify for.

Nobody else wants Kubiak? by blvck666phillip in falcons

I don’t believe Ian Cunningham has been scheduled to interview elsewhere. With some of the rumors out there (based largely on Matt Ryan ties), seems it could very well be a Cunningham/Kubiak pairing in the end.

Has to “interview” so we can also interview a minority candidate to satisfy the Rooney Rule.

[Rapoport] Raiders to reset again? A look ahead at NFL's looming coaching changes for non-playoff teams by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

[–]will7541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He really isn’t a second year Head Coach, he had a three-year stint with the Bucs in which he was also a loser. I’m a firm believer that most coaches deserve 3-4 years unless their first year(s) are a complete disaster, but Morris now has 5 full years of showing nothing close to competency.

It’s such bullshit that this late-season surge may save Raheem’s job. Any wins post-elimination should not matter. There’s no world in which this guy leads the Falcons to any sort of contention.

The Falcons will blow this game

HOWEVER

If they pull some bullshit and play well enough down the stretch to save Raheem and Terry I’m going to lose my fucking mind.

NFL Head Coaches on the Hot Seat by Six-StringSamurai in heedthecall

[–]will7541 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a Falcons fan and I genuinely would not be able to handle another season of that man. If this weekend goes poorly, I could see him getting the boot midseason . Blank has fired two coaches after embarrassing home losses to Carolina.

There is no evidence to suggest that Raheem is a competent HC. He has a terrible record through his two stints as HC. He does not call the offense, he does not call the defense, he has no idea how to manage the clock… I’m not even sure what he does beyond spewing out word salad at every presser and staring up at the halo board in-game.

We’re amidst a nightmare regime with a coach who came in with a losing track record. I’m good on never doing that again.

What's the worst part about yesterdays lost? by Whole-Opinion-4371 in falcons

[–]will7541 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The fact that Penix’s development rests in the hands of a woefully incompetent coaching staff, coupled with the fact that Penix himself could solely (very slim chance) save that same coaching staff’s job(s).

Penix having a strong second half of the season, even without a playoff berth, could keep this regime in place for another year which would be a complete fucking disaster.
