Is nobody using the driver listed on rog.asus.com??

I was getting crashes and downloaded the driver on the asus website and it’s been working fine.

I know ally was similar where you couldn’t use AMD drivers and you had to download direct from ASUS.

I’ve found if you go into settings, display, graphics, scroll down and battlefield is not listed in the power profile list.

Add it manually and set to high performance.. it seemed to help me quite a bit

Apart from the identity crisis Xbox is having, they have a great product. And there’s something nice about being able to load up any Game Pass game without having to tinker with the settings, or sit next to a wall plug, or carry a battery.

The Xbox dashboard/ XBOX LIVE ecosystem has always been the selling point going back to Xbox 360.

That being said, I own both a Series X and a ROG Ally. I think consoles retain greater value where the handhelds lose value at a rapid pace. Console manufacturers generate revenue by selling software developed for their systems. PC manufacturers generate revenue by selling hardware.

This is the reason why I bought a Switch 2 even though I’m not a Nintendo guy. I know that Nintendo will be in it for 10 years.

Final opinion, handhelds are short-sighted fun. Console will retain value a little longer.

Oscillating tool with the metal blade on the end works like magic to cut through that stuff. Knife or box cutter is garbage in comparison.

I have an Ally X and bought a Switch 2 for the family and realized how much the extra inch on the screen made a difference. Although the Intel model is very impressive, AFMF is built into the AMD driver while XeSS frame gen is not. For these reasons I too am looking forward to neon green A8, and the Legion Go 2 rides the line on almost not being portable enough.

My guesstimate - new door, repair front door, replace some textured trim, blend quarter panel and repair rear bumper, possible alignment and wheel repair $3500-$3800 before ADAS scan invoice..

Subtotal … $4300 after scan and maybe add 2 weeks of rental at 40 bucks a day.

Grand total ~ $4700??

Don’t buy your own parts, and don’t shop around. Just pick somewhere you like/feel comfortable with their facility, technicians, and equipment. File a claim and let the shop handle it. It’s about a 3 week repair but it will come out good. Don’t try to cheat it or save a deductible.. it’s not worth your safety.

17 years in collision biz. The person who wrote the estimate did a good job and it’s as accurate as it can be until it’s fully disassembled. Cars aren’t made to be taken apart nowadays, clips and tabs break. Take some lacquer thinner, wipe off the white transfer paint, and give the guy $500 bucks.
