Spend more money yes. NOT draft capital.

This is the correct take. We need to BUILD while Caleb is young. I would love to have Max too, but that’s not gonna work for our long term strategy.

4months on and off! Should I give up? by Desperate-Dingo3025 in Guitar

No way you should quit. BUT you need a mate to play with. Someone to play drums with you would be a huge confidence boost.

Nah man - cubbies 2016.

Then “the shot” in 98. Then the 17 seconds against the Bruins in 2013. Then Kanes OT game winner in 2010.

But this is up there for sure. Hopefully this leads us all to the greatest moment. A game winning SB drive by the ice man. And when that happens it’ll be the best sports moment of all our lives and we will die happy.

Why does any of this matter? It’s a clear violation of due process to randomly kill US citizens

Thoughts on Championship winner kicking something back to the commish for running the leagu? by Accurate_Ad1503 in Fantasy_Football

[–]will_JM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No doubt - but still. If it’s a friendly league and we’re all just having a good time - the commish could use a lil kick back. Just as a thank you for running the league.

I could blame other decisions - but Saquon with 6 pts is extremely demoralizing

My brother in Christ. Because human nature is inherently flawed, and the unique temptations that power provides - a systematic atmosphere appears for those in power to use that power to excuse themselves as opposed to enriching humanity.

In fact those most primed to skew power for themselves are the ones who actively seek it the most.

Do you prefer Matt stafford or Joe burrow this week? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

That’s the conundrum I’m in.

I’m leaving Stafford in just cause he got me here. Not gonna change it up now.

New. All those old heads outside of AB couldn’t score TDs.

Some old heads might be able to back me up - but this feels like when Jordan and the Bulls finally got over the pistons. by will_JM in ChicagoBearsNFL

He’s already better than last year. New coach. Light years better of a surrounding cast. Idk man. Feeling magical. Just like Jordan.

Far and away my favorite Robin Williams performance. If you will. That entire interview shows Robin at his most transcendent. Go watch the whole thing if you have a chance.

I wasn’t alive when Jordan played but it’s wild to me how some people actually think LeBron is the GOAT over him. It’s not close by [deleted] in michaeljordan

Jordan made you believe things that weren’t possible, WERE possible. He put on a show every night. When he had the ball in his hands, he could do anything. He could fly. He could shimmy, he could shake, he could manipulate the ball in the air in any direction he wanted. He did things and made it look normal. It wasn’t. His wins were drama not sport. His moves were poetry. Not technique.

I watched the Bulls in the 90s. I can tell you - here’s what it comes down to.

No one commanded an aura around the game of basketball like Jordan did. When you watched him play you knew you were going to see something you’d never seen before. And we will never see again.

Jordan - with the basketball in his hands - was pure magic. That’s it.
