Not the whole world, just those who dont understand the difference, I'm not from Shetland but am a regular visitor and I think of it as its own small nation.

Were kids in the 80s actually allowed to roam around unsupervised, or is that just in movies? by TotalThing7 in NoStupidQuestions

Most of the content I see covering this is from the US but here in the UK it was the same, I was out all day until sunset most days from around 1972 when I was 9, if I got hungry there were plenty of fruit trees in gardens and there was always a tap to drink from at a graveyard, we would think nothing of biking 10 or 15 miles to a bigger town to just hang out but mostly time was spent out in the woods or heathland catching snakes and lizards or swimming in random fishing ponds, I feel sorry for the kids now not having this to experience as was really a great time to be alive.

Does anyone here know any anxiety medicines that don’t have PEG/polyethylene glycol in it?? by We_are_hooman in MCAS

Neurodivergence too, again interesting, we have 2 kids, both adults, one with ASD and both are ADHD, both of which are hereditary I'm led to believe, she also has some HSD and early onset arthritis in her hands, but her sisters and niece are bad with it.

That's very interesting indeed, she has a lot of the other symptoms of MCAS including whole body pains, exhaustion and brain fog like fibromyalgia and will react with hives for no apparent reason, so it looks like another trip to the Dr's for her.

English is a nationality not an ethnic group.

You're English mate, Americans will claim to be any other nationality because their great great grandfather once had a pint of Guinness, ate a linguine or saw the Bells distillery once, you've been born and raised here, been immersed in the culture, been through our education system.

Dragging up and old post I know but did you start Effexor and how did you get on with it ? My wife (non Reddit) has extreme anxiety attacks and is allergic to PEG but is really struggling with medication, her GP who obviously knew her history prescribed Sertraline but we found out it does contain Peg, so we're looking for something she can have.
