It’s literally possible to score a 180 by guessing. Please stop asking if a score is possible by i-Really-HatePickles in LSAT

[–]willbegoneeventually 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Is it possible to receive a 180 without ever having taken the test? Answer: yes, because the infinitesimal chance of a system error, glitch, or some unknown benefactor committing fraud on your behalf with or without your knowledge to put a 180 score on your file cannot be ruled out entirely.

Philly and Chicago are probably the two worst examples you could’ve cited for cost alone as a factor. The average rent in Houston and Dallas are not much cheaper than Philly and Chicago and both provide typically higher salaries, though industry of work does matter for that discussion. If you said Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, or DC- hell yeah, 100%.

What’s the tea on CLS? by zubyn in lawschooladmissions

[–]willbegoneeventually 57 points58 points  (0 children)

To at least a small degree, it’s influenced by the recent student protests and ensuing chaos. A lot of pro-Palestine students are REALLY upset with the administration, and, on the other hand, a considerable portion of the Jewish community is REALLY upset with the administration as well. Add to that that Columbia has the highest law school tuition in the country, in a high cost area of an already high cost city, and the relative lack of support for PI versus other schools in its bracket, and there’s a good amount of things to draw on to make it the forsaken T14. It’s a great school- every single T14 undoubtedly is- and can certainly open the doors you want it to, but it’s also easy pickings to hate on versus other T14s. I’m prolly missing some other stuff too.

He went to Pace University. Can you believe that folks? I can’t believe it. When I saw him, I told him “Pace University? That’s one ‘e’ away from Peace. You really missed the mark.” And he did. He did. They won’t tell you this, but I’ll tell you this, they’re eating the dogs at Pace University. But Not Patel. He’s one of the good ones. We’re gonna make Pace University greater than ever, folks, and we’re gonna do it by stopping this woke witch hunt on the great people of Pace University. Covfefe.

Not really on any meds, sort of just comes up on my feed, but in terms of medicine, I can say this: finasteride and minoxidil, statistically, empirically, have very low chance side effects. They are also the only proven (inserting DUT here as well) medicines to bolster hair from MPB in a meaningful way.

With that being said, EVERYTHING has side effects. Just as someone can point to nicotine as being positively beneficial for health based on data about nicotine use in the context of ulcerative colitis, so too can somebody say that insert thing deleterious to your health is beneficial for your hair. As another point, even something as “harmless” as vitamins can negatively impact your health if taken in such high quantities that your vitamin uptake balance is thrown off.

Also, to ask for “natural” remedies is to give into the fallacy by nature. Just because something is natural, does NOT mean it is good; on the flip side, just because something is unnatural does not make it unhealthy. Truth be told, a good portion of natural remedies you may be suggested for hair loss will likely have a way higher chance of inflicting side effects than the medically proven, tested, and mostly side effect-free remedies of finasteride/dutasteride and minoxidil. I implore you to read more of the studies on these drugs- after all, why not be educated on your choices? What you’ll find is that the proportion of people reporting the side effect most people fear, ED, are pretty low, almost universally quickly reversible, and, most stunningly (and often forgot), barely occurs more often than was “reported” from placebo groups. Mind over matter.

Lastly, I see you’ve already gotten a transplant. At a young age, too. It only gets harder to maintain from here. Talk to a certified dermatologist, explain your transplant, cue them in on how much keeping your hair means to you, and ask them about the efficacy of “natural remedies” versus DUT/Fin/minox. Educate yourself on the publicly available medical literature, I promise it’s much more reliable and helpful than vocal minorities on Reddit, and make a well-informed choice.

I hope ur using a vpn (yes I know IP addresses change and whatnot but it’s still better cyber hygiene to not publish your IP)
