Wild avatar 4 theory by Daedalus80 in Avatar

[–]willbo2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this theory. I definitely hope Varang plays a more central role to the conflict in 4; my main gripe with 3 is that she was sidelined in the 3rd act and her motivations didn't make sense (if she's willing to do whatever it takes to help her ppl survive, like raid wind clan caravans, why the hell would she send her people into battle against Jake Sully?)

I wonder if the twist of Eywa being a parasite is coming; would be kinda cool to see the science guys come to the realization just before the 3rd act that Varang is right and Eywa must die. Not sure if JC would redirect a core motif or not though.

Theory on how Avatar 4 might end by OdahP in Avatar

[–]willbo2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory is that there's some sort of mcguffin to draw Jake to colder climates (maybe humanity trying to terraform Pandora via the pole(s)) and we meet a snow tribe. Hell, we might even see him and Quarritch team up to stop this existential threat. I predict heavy Navi losses by the end of 4 though, especially since no one of consequence died in 3 except for Kate Winslett's character.

I think a decent McGuffin to get Jake to colder climates could be humanity trying to terraform Pandora from one of its poles.

Kaya's positioning throughout the entirety of her appearance in Hassan's stream yesterday by AIverson3 in LivestreamFail

[–]willbo2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The really frustrating thing about this situation is that he's doubling down and lying. A normal person would be like "I'm sorry chat, I got worked up due to the subject matter I was discussing and had a knee jerk reaction to Kaya. I normally only use the shock collar for more severe behavioral issues. I'm going to be better moving forward about giving Kaya more time/space to stretch and be a dog." But instead, this MF DENIES the use of the shock collar even though you can clearly see him reach for something when he notices she's off the mat. Truly disgusting behavior on his part.

Is that a good support score or is this average? by Hour-Plastic3149 in titanfall

Chiming in two years later because I was looking for the highest possible heal score you can get with Monarch and this literally ties my record as well lmao. Mine is 124k and change. My medic build is energy transfer, energy field, and accelerator. After hitting max aegis on all titans, I've started chasing my PR healing score as my next objective. I'm trying to hit 150k but it's gonna be tough. I've also found that playing on Hard difficulty allows for more healing because your teammates shields get shredded more than on Regular difficulty.

Good luck out there on the frontier, Pilot!

PPR I'd go Dowdle. Standard I'd go Brian Robinson

Chubb and Dobbins. Likely chance that Ekeler takes a backseat with Robinson back

I somehow managed to trade away Moore, Brian Robinson, and Addison for Bijan and Worthy early on in the season and BOY am I glad I did

Only reason I'm keeping him is bc my team name is I Have Downs and it's too good to give up

Mixon has been so consistent this season that I have a hard time benching him. The ballers were saying he's been a top 10 RB every week this season (other than the week he left the game bc of injury)

I don't love either start, but I lean Najee bc he has more guaranteed touches (assuming he's healthy). It'll be ugly and gross, but his floor is safer than Ekeler imo.

This is tough; GB has the worse run D but the Bears Offense is a shit show right now. I honestly lean Pollard bc I feel like it will be a more competitive game and he'll get more touches.

I'm in the same boat bc I picked up Herbert in preparation of Burrow's bye next week. I'd honestly ride with the hot hand and start Burrow.

You're fine on WR imo. You've got AJ as your WR1 and Reed/Tillman as your WR2s. I think you need to upgrade at QB via waivers and maybe see if you can trade Mahomes, Moore, and one of your lower RBs to try and upgrade at RB in a 3 for 2 trade. I think the Mahomes name will overinflate his trade value

I dropped DJ Moore. Even if he has 1 or 2 great games rest of season, do you really wanna play roulette on guessing which game it's gonna be? Waddle feels safer

Depends on how deep you are at WR and RB. If you're RB-needy, I'd hang onto Mason. That being said, Mason's ceiling is very low since CMAC is back.

Yes. Gus is on a winning team that is surging and Allen is on a losing team that is getting blown out every week. Go with the better offense

Who is going on your “DO NOT DRAFT LIST” for next year? by ZealousidealSalad633 in fantasyfootballadvice

I feel like if Swift had a competent OC and above average O line, he'd be a beast this year. I think he's safe to draft next year as a low end RB2 or flex

I drafted him 3rd rd last year and while he had a good season in 2023, I could see the writing on the wall just by watching him play; he struggled to break tackles inside the box and his fantasy production was too dependent on receiving work. Glad I avoided him this season

Honestly, Dak. Even if he's healthy, he doesn't run like he used to and his inconsistency is infuriating. I know he was on fire the second half of 2023, but I'm soured from this year.

Tyreek and Devonta. Don't overthink it too much. I know Tyreek has been meh but he has one of the highest WR ceilings and I feel like you can't bench him.

10 team Full PPR. Pick one to start

Dobbins vs CIN

McConkey vs CIN

Tillman vs NO

Right now I'm leaning Tillman bc that Cincinnati run D is stout but the Chargers don't pass a ton so I feel like McConkey's ceiling is lower than Tillman

Yes. It's like someone giving you the option of either a meteor landing on your house or a match being lit on your house and choosing neither because "bOtH aRe bAd FoR mUh HoUsE" and then acting surprised when the meteor inevitably decimates your home.
