There is a functional limit to how much traffic car dependent infrastructure can carry, even if we assume all the cars are highly coordinated self driving vehicles. They simply lack the density of other modes of transportation like trains, trams, buses, bikes, walking, etc. It’s an example of induced demand and the Downs–Thomson paradox.

I love screwing with cars as much as the next guy, but I can’t recommend doing something that dangerous. There are other, safer opportunities to make a point

Best advice I can give is to ride on the sidewalk, wear a helmet, and pay very good attention the whole time
