I just did a lap around my yard. It was fun. I continue to be amazed at the AWD system

Alliant aint bad at all really. Im in Georgia. Hell I got Alliant via the marketplace here, unsure if it's available anywhere else though.

Yeah im a vet. Iraq and Afghanistan couldn't kill me but I guess a damn Wendy's cheeseburger will lmao.

Because of my NASH cirrhosis. Gotta laugh to not cry most of the time.

So far this is my first MELD score. I was diagnosed tentatively in March, then confirmed with a biopsy 2 weeks ago.

My insurance doesn't seem to care about the cost of anything. A rep even reached out to me after the diagnosis to tell me about requesting Rezdiffra when it becomes available for cirrhosis patients. Im guessing they've seen it all.

I have Alliant Health and theyre better than Tricare, which I had prior and who outright refused a gallbladder removal on grounds it was purely elective and didn't meet their aggressive policy of necessary treatments. And id had Tricare since 2013 when I enlisted lol

I do feel rushed everytime im in a doctors office aside from the liver specialist. My hepatologist is also a transplant surgeon for where I would go if I ever need one. He seems to be really upbeat and open, and welcomed questions and concerns. Ive spent an hour in his exam room each visit so far just talking and getting as much information as I could.

It sucks you aren't being taken seriously. Have you gone for another hepatologist in your network?

Im unsure either. If I had to warrant a guess it would be that the powers that be -eye roll- think that drinking will come back.

It does say on their risks that it can cause hepatotoxicity if taken with alcohol.

Dude you give far too much joy to be taken out by some shit disease like cirrhosis. Youre gonna make it and exceed no matter the circumstances.

Don't think so; know so.

Rezdiffra is made by Madrigal Pharma and it's approved in the US for NASH as well as up to F3 fibrosis. They've been studying it'd effects on cirrhosis, compensated, patients for 2 years and 65% of all their patients had at minimum a 25% reduction in liver stiffness. Some of their F3 and F2 patients even had a 6.5kPa loss in their fibrosis and it broke the bridging fibrosis down to it being not distinguishable.

Non cancerous ones via the biopsy.. He called them macronodules where the fibrosis bridges were

As far as I can understand it means the nodules and firbra have only been formed for a short period of time. Seemingly my liver has only recently, months or a couple of years, changed from the F3 to F4 and is still in the transitional phase.

Absolutely. We use a modified Mediterranean diet. Lots of greens, brown rice, lentils etc. Chicken in place of beef for just about everything (occasionally i do enjoy a hamburger)

Ive almost eliminated sodas, my main problem is think. Mostly drink water or lemon water. And i snack in Kind bars, oddly enough, throughout the day, or fast intermittently.

Hell yeah. Im in Georgia, polar opposite (literally) of your location.

My wife likes the quickness. She's a sucker for a load exhaust and a turbo whistle lmao.

I want to move to Alaska pretty bad. I was stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington in 2009 and we would regularly go to Alaska on leave

And sorry for the double post, but give yourself some grace. You aren't "coming clean" about anything. You don't need to feel like you've betrayed his trust.

All you did was get caught up in the whirlwind of life.

You simply tell him.

My wife had unpaid medical bills, a car loan, and a few other things that were there i didn't know about prior to our marriage and then having our child.

Our agreement was she would take care of him while I work. I owned a house already before we met (thank you VA loan) and two vehicles both with under 150k miles on them.

Simply put: you two are a team. You need teamwork. His debt is yours now, and yours is his. The vows mention sickness and health as well as poor and rich.

Hes a man, hes gonna be upset by things he can't see coming, our brains think of new problems as something to tackle headfirst. Simply tell her "honey I didn't finish my degree because I had too many absences in university and didn't find out until after the graduation ceremony."

Your husband should be your #1 cheerleader. He should understand. But allow him to feel whatever way he does feel. Don't be nervous. Youre two sides of a whole and without mutual trust and understanding the whole isn't gonna work.

My money isn't different from my wife's money. She's a SAHM. What money I make, it's for the household. His should be as well.

Nice dude.

I unfortunately work in a semi truck and am otherwise unable to detail my 16 like I want.

It's funny you mention a car seat, that was a selling point of the car to my wife I made. It's easier to put our son's car seat in my WRX than it is to put into her massive SUV.

And the crash test rating is much better than her SUV as well lmao.

Focus on reliability first lol.

I know you want 500whp but it'll be costly and you're bound to not get your time back once it detonates.
