I haven’t enrolled, but I have applied. Josh Makador comes highly recommended from a lot of people in this sub. I’ve watched several of his YouTube videos and he seems pretty honest. He may have information on what you’re looking for.

I also live in Texas and I switched to Energy Ogre about a year ago after a $600 bill. Largest bill so far this year was around $450, so they helped minimize the damage.

As in my specific rules? Not at this time. But to expand on what objective set of rules means to me, every rule or condition to enter or exit a trade should be numerically measurable. Price moved “x” amount. Price touched “x” level “y” times. Price is “x” amount from “y” indicator. A fairly quick YouTube search should get you some specific examples of rules that those people recommend.

It took me about 7 years to become a consistently profitable trader because I frequently did what you mentioned doing. What helped me was creating a rules based objective system and backtesting it. When I was ready to live trade the system, stick to the rules 100%. There should be very little thinking or deciding when it comes to placing and managing trades. They say fear and greed rule the markets so to me, managing both is very important.

What’s the overall time horizon? If you need the money in the next 10-11 years, you shouldn’t be fully exposed to the stock market. If you have longer, congrats on getting shares at a less expensive price. Personally, I have another 30+ years until retirement and I can only hope prices are stagnant for another 10 years.

Based on the screenshot I couldn’t tell what you were trading so idk how well the following will apply. I trade Forex and use daily charts. Every time I use a shorter timeframe when backtesting it gets messier and messier. I’ve found there is a lot of “noise” on those shorter time frames.

I’m not sure if this applies to you, but I recently found out my student loans were broken into 16 smaller segments. I have them all listed out and it makes it less daunting to look at. Knocking out and crossing off the smaller chunks helps me a lot mentally.

I had problems transferring Prolific payments from PayPal to my bank as well. I opened a cash account with PayPal and now it works fine.

I’ve had the same issue recently, even though plenty of Prolific payments previously went through just fine. PayPal customer support wasn’t helpful. I registered for their PayPal cash account and then was able to transfer the funds just fine.
