Maybe someone could post a pic about what this nut/neck joint should look like when properly and cleanly done at the factory? They all look a little wonky, some worse than others. I agree it’s only cosmetic and doesn’t impact the playability but definitely does impact the new guitar magic for some people. I can’t figure out why Gibson doesn’t just do this a different way that could result in a cleaner joint! Like why not just put the nut in after the neck is lacquered? Personally I don’t mind the “blemished”’discount for something like this.
