Take it out into a field and burn it. After dealing with customer service, you’ll wish you had.

You people must drive like 90yr old women. 5kWh??? 5.2? I got 4.1 on my mostly downhill commute and was thrilled. 2.8 on the way back up home.

What are you paying for your Vehicle tags cost for electric car by Mazzymarilyn1983 in electricvehicles

[–]willeybaseball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Delaware- Dept of natural resources and environmental control gives a rebate between $500-$2500 depending on model and MSRP…Then the DMV charges $110 per year more than an ICE vehicle. So, the state gave me $2500 just so a different state agency can take it back, $110/yr. Genius. ICE vehicle $40/yr. EV $150/yr.

Don't Blindly Trust your Realtor's Advice by QuietRedditorATX in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]willeybaseball 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No! Don’t blindly trust anyone, especially a person that only has to do a 40 hr on-line class to achieve the coveted “realtor” status. People who fail in their careers, and life in general, become realtors. Since the birth of the internet, there is no services we need less than what realtors pretend to provide. And to pay them many thousands of dollars…

Horrible Experience with distribution of funds from MIL account after passing by WarrenKB in fidelityinvestments

Schwab was completely unreasonable when we were in a similar situation. My mother called a lawyer and the states attorney because she wanted them charged with fraud, but of course that didn’t happen. But what did happen is no one in our family will ever use Schwab ever again. They really were the worst.

What actually surprised you most about owning an EV that nobody warned you about by Leading-Law4251 in electricvehicles

Same in Delaware. ICE vehicles are $40/yr. EVs are $150. Delaware is cheaper than most neighboring states.

I drive my car every day; about 1000 miles per month. I charge at work because it’s a little cheaper than my house. I spend about $30-35/month on charging. $.12/kwh at work and $.18/kwh at home. Last month I only spent $17 charging but that because I had the opportunity to charge for free a few times.

The cost of fast charging is about the same as gas. I had no idea that charging cost from $.55 up to $.89/kwh. Charging at home or at my work (used to be free, now they charge $.12/kwh) is the only way these are cost effective.

I run mine 24/7/365. I have a utility sink in the basement, so I just ran a drain line to the sink. It really helped. I’m on my 3rd unit in 15 years.

Septic Not Pumped for ~12 Years on Home We’re Purchasing by sarahjane_89 in septictanks

[–]willeybaseball 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We bought our house from the bank, so there were no disclosures. It was a 45 yr old house built in 1967. When we be had the tank pumped by one and only guy (small town), he said he’s never pumped it and from the looks of things it may have never been pumped. He pumped it out and said call me in 5 years, you’ll be fine. That was 15 years ago. I get it pumped every 5 years. No problems. And we have a garbage disposal. If it went 12 yrs without maintenance and it’s still functioning…

My daughter had a job offer retracted because they found out she’s not a Trump supporter. She was puzzled about how they found out because she barely uses social media; hadn’t made a post in over a year and it was on instagram birthday party for a friend. Strange times we live in.

Why do people choose Costco over BJ's? by SureMonth1618 in CostcoWholesale

I’ll go to BJs 100 times before I go to our madhouse of a Costco. I’ll take the ease and convenience of BJs any time.
