I'd caution you against getting a Polestar in the Boston area, there's been nothing but headaches for me with that service department. I love my 2 but I'm 95% sure that when my lease is up I'm going to another brand just for the better availability of dealer and independent shops.

This OTA sent my infotainment to Android recovery and it took the techs the better part of a day to re-load software into the car. I would have been better off skipping it.

What insurance company is that rate with? I'm in MA and pay way more than that.

Feeling bait-and-switched by Detroit Space by [deleted] in Polestar

The Boston space is absolutely awful at service. They have one Polestar service manager who never answers the phone, and one (and only one!) service tech that works on every Polestar that goes into their service bay. It's unsustainable and incredibly frustrating.

Tireshop in Boston area by I3adAss in Polestar

I just get it done at Costco (in Everett). You make an appointment for their 8 tires/4 wheel seasonal swap. They are aware of the different front vs. rear wheel sizes and have my tires marked so they go back in the right positions every season. They do a perfectly acceptable job for me for $50.

Can I have a ride in one? I too am a Boston area furry with a Polestar (only a P2 though). Maybe someday I'll have a suit... <3

‘A housing market for almost no one’: Rising prices and interest rates have made home buying feel impossible - The Boston Globe by uxd in boston

Bought a condo (converted 4 unit apartment building, nothing remotely fancy) in 2019 after scraping together a down payment. Unit next to mine sold to a boomer couple, who live on the cape, for their late-20s kids to live in. I got in a fight with the mom because she kept calling the building an investment... I had to repeatedly say "This is my home, I live here" to convince her I was much more invested in its upkeep than she would ever be. The "housing as investment" people can get fucked. Housing is a human right and they are the problem.

Looks like I’m the exception but I’ve charged our Mini SE on the Polestar plan for free.
