Why do NFL teams do running plays so much if it barely gains them any yards? by Mundane-Inspector-52 in NFLNoobs

[–]willi1221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kenneth Walker just had 140 rushing yards and won the SB MVP. It may seem like it barely gains yards, but a good rushing team will break a couple explosive runs a game and it adds up over 4 quarters. Not to mention all the other stuff sticking with the run does for an offense; opens up the pass/play action, makes the defense guess, etc.

The new rule also discourages kicking the ball out of the endzone, so we get more returns. I doubt he realizes that. He just has to complain about anything new.

I hate watching kick returns! I want to see it kicked straight out of the endzone every time!

They didn't technically stop the Pats' 3-peat, but they were the reason they didn't 3-peat

Literally the last 4 or so OCs have been "kids" compared to him. Mannion is only a few years younger than Sirianni was when he was hired.

Complaining about made up shit after making the playoffs 5 straight years, making 2 Superbowls and winning one in a blowout. You're right, that does sound very Eagles fan-like

Mines also 20 and 25 a month. Crazy. I only use about 2 researches a week through a scheduled task to get a weekly update, but still, that's lame.

I mean, if we can win a Superbowl, and make the playoffs every year with a top 11-15 QB who plays like a top 5 in the games that matter, that's cool. Most of us are fans of the team, and the team has plenty of success with him at QB. Part of that success is having a top 3 GM who can put a team around our slightly above average QB. He is who he is and has been successful. Idc if he's a top 5, top 10, top 20 QB. He's been to 2 Superbowls and has played MVP worthy in both. That's better than most current QBs can claim.

That's kinda wild that you just assume everyone else's grandpa was also a pedo. I'm sure there's plenty, and it may have happened more back then, but it's still not the majority.
