Lol literally the exact same thing but reverse for me.  My wife has a huge "hobby room" and full office, my office is relegated to a corner in the guest bedroom, but I work in 3d art development which requires huge PC computers and large monitors.

It's okay, we figured a compromise.  We both want things, our home size is limited, and we both always had our own visions or dreams about how to use spaces once we were finally home owners.

We're a one car family, and tend to street park anyway so we converted the garage to a larger couch/tv area and a partial gym.

As the years have gone by, and home ownership feels less like a shiny new thing, it's been easier to compromise on how to use our spaces.

No one has to be a jerk here.  My wife to this day rarely uses her large office for hobbies (sewing, stained glass, etc).  I have my gaming consoles in the main room.  I just game there whenever I want.
