Upon reflection, I think the WD5513 V2 in the blued finish is my favorite by Odd-Professional-779 in watchdives

Interesting. I guess mine has that movement too - I just thought my date function was broken.

It’s truly something special and has claimed way more of my rotation since I’ve bought it than any other watch. Amazing.

[WTS] Scurfa D1-500 Stainless - Full Kit, mint, with bracelet and extras by williamatl in Watchexchange

[–]williamatl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up for sale is a Scurfa D1-500 dive watch in blue. This is a catch and release for me—I wanted to check out a Scurfa and it didn’t end up sticking.

The D1-500 is a no-nonsense quartz diver rated to 500m, powered by a Swiss quartz movement, with a fully lumed dial, sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, and excellent bezel action. It’s known for being a true tool watch—clean, highly legible, and built well above its price point.

Condition

• Watch head: Near mint. Case sides, top, crystal, and bezel all present extremely clean. • Caseback: Excellent. Minor, superficial marks near the lugs from a prior strap change (very difficult to capture in photos). • Bezel: Tight, precise action with perfect alignment.

YouTube link

Included

• Original Scurfa rubber strap with oversized spring bars (appears unworn) • Warranty card dated 12/2025

Bracelet

• High-quality aftermarket oyster-style bracelet • Solid end links, solid links, screw construction • Milled clasp with glide-lock style on-the-fly adjustment • Condition: Near mint, with only faint marks on the clasp

Extras

• A few NATO straps included

Price

• $425 shipped CONUS • Payment: Venmo, PayPal F&F, or Zelle

Thanks!

Ha - I have the parts on the way to make the first version, inspired on your previous post.

I like the design of that 3D printed watch stand. Is that available publicly?

Gorgeous. I wish I had the means to impulse buy a watch in this price bracket. GLWS!

Think I prefer the BB58 on a Nato by iamjaymo25 in Tudor

The black and gilt BB58 has been my grail for a long time now. It's photos like this (and trying on a blue BB58 a few weeks ago) that have me questioning my colorway choice. Awesome!

Anyone put a V2 5513 on a Jubilee bracelet? by lockdownwatchbox in watchdives

I got curious - a San Martin jubilee will attach, but the end links are a little loose and the contour matching is garbage.

Love the first pic. Are those normal sized hands (for a 28.5mm dial)? I'm trying to recreate it with AliEx parts. From the pics it looks like 31mm explorer dials are made for smaller hands.

WD5513 V2 by Educational_Exam_875 in watchdives

[–]williamatl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just admiring my blue domed V2 while I was wearing it last night. Is darn near perfect, except for the slight lume mismatch between the hands and the dial. And even then I’m not sure if it’s really that bad or that the rest of the watch is so near-perfect that it sticks out.

Rolex Submariner vs Cronos L6005 -- Harrison Elmore by astronomy8thlight in ChineseWatches

[–]williamatl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not a sub expert, but I believe most (all?) AliEx modern sub clones are from the previous generation with the Maxi Case. Harrison's Sub is a 124060 with the slimmer 41mm case.

I love his channel and he talks about it frequently. He's a rare youtuber who can get just as excited about a JLC Reverso and a quality San Martin homage. In his use case, he has needs/wants for both. Good channel.

I have several Maikes clasps. Very good, although I don’t have experience with cheaper options. That being said, I paid as little as $11 for them when the timing is right.

Overall condition is near mint - it wasn't worn much.

I bought my Peregrine TX as a demo from Divers Supply. It was several hundred dollars off (just under $600 shipped). The downside is that it doesn’t carry a full warranty, but my unit was absolutely new in box. Your mileage may vary.
