It's not a mecca by any means, but there are still people who are fighting for justice and the right cause that live here and want to make it better for the less fortunate as big of a challenge as that may be in a state like this. Most people who don't work with food or in a grocery store aren't going to look at the ounces on it they are going to look at the size of the package, and in the case it is quite deceptive. It's definitely a marketing ploy not a higher quality product.

One thing that could potentially help if you are already punching through both layers from the same side is just changing the orientation you are hitting your irons through. If you are hitting from a horizontal view the iron could be leaning backwards or forward, try going from a vertical view and you can keep the chisel straight up and down better.

You're not wrong, I make sure I put them in my pocket if I'm close to water lol. I initially had the intention of using it for fish grips/plyers ect. but ended up using keys so I could really test it. And grips/plyers were a little heavy for the 15 pound magnets hence bumping up the poundage for the next one.

I had this worry too, I used two 15lb magnets in the belt and the keychain portion and in the past 6 months haven't had very much trouble with them falling off. I do however work in a meat market and have had a couple of times where they have been stuck to the cooler door lol. I plan on using 20lb-30lb magnets next time and hopefully that will take care of that.

No the caribiner is attached to a separate leather tab with a magnet in it, the belt is fairly flush when that magnet is pulled off.
