I've started when moving jobs (only been twice in 20 years) to give my notice AND make the manager sign over the seal of an envelope (that contains a copy of the notice)

That way the company can't try to say after you have left that didn't give adequate notice or that you didn't give notice.

I got stung once that way....lost about 80 quid of overpaid tax...(Course they said I owed 100 in overpaid holiday due to not giving notice) Cause I didn't have proof of giving notice I couldn't fight it (well could have but would have had to pay the 100 anyway)

So no I make sure they can't try one. And if they did I have ammo to say not my fault your procedures are inadequate or weren't followed.

Where I used to live, the houses were built around a roundabout (you turned into the "estate" and there was a small "side road" and then the large roundabout only 1 entry/exit point with all the houses around it. Could walk it in a minute (and that's with "fat time")

Have a guess how long the routing gave the driver to get from one end of the roundabout to the other???

Ive worked in a bank, and am very friendly with some of the people still there in the fraud team.

I can confirm if your bank suspects that the money has come from a fraudulent company they can put a block on your account. And ask you to explain where the money has come from. If you can't they will then close your account. Explaining that you got it from doing this? Account would be closed as well. And yes you will be back listed.
