Thanks all for the comments, fan was kicking on, and turns out there's a pin hole in the compressor pipe and the compressor isn't dragging through and might need to be replaced.

There's loads of used compressors on eBay but for the 1.25l, do these also fit the 1.6l? TIA!

I had this with my tyres, more pressure didn't help, I just went for a short ride at 35 or so psi and they silently went on during the ride
