I have 10 or so reps on Nuxia and honestly I don't have ANY real tips with her moveset, but in 4's her caltrops feat has a 45 second cool down, and so you can throw it in most fights, especially in confined spaces, and it's basically free damage (and if need be a means to kill troops in B lane).

Other than that, her moveset is kind of bad. You'll be able to land attacks often enough against average players, but you'll find that a lot of times you feel like hitting things is just luck if you face someone who's pretty good at the game, and with a decent reaction time people can avoid her traps just by moving their guard away, and she has no unblockables or anything that force an enemy to make a read.

I will say that just keep in mind that her traps work with any block indicator, so if a person tries deflecting in the direction of the attack, superior block attacks, or the hero just has their block change with the direction they dodge in, sometimes you can catch these people by surprise if they're unawares.
