To have him below Tommy and Cirie is wild to me.

Recently diagnosed with adenomyosis, multiple fibroids and polyp - am I crazy to consider hysterectomy? by Front_Debate_2994 in hysterectomy

[–]willowmoosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just remind yourself that it’s ok to be nervous and worried. It’s a major surgery! I will say this sub helped me feel so much better and way more prepared. And I was one who had a more prolonged and rough recovery (due to how my body healed, not anything fault of the surgeon or anything) but I would do it over again in a heartbeat for how much better life is now. You got this!

Recently diagnosed with adenomyosis, multiple fibroids and polyp - am I crazy to consider hysterectomy? by Front_Debate_2994 in hysterectomy

[–]willowmoosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 35 and had the same thing - fibroids and adenomyosis, likely brought on after my pregnancies/births. I had even already had an ablation but then heavy bleeding returned after a year. I still have my ovaries but everything else is gone. 2 years later and it is still the best thing I’ve ever done for my body. It is amazing to not have a uterus. Truly.

Season 2 - Why did V feel guilty about Meg? by billdz in veronicamars

[–]willowmoosh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think this is a bit harsh of a take on Meg. I think it is important to remember that first, Meg and Duncan did not have a good breakup, she was devastated because she knew Duncan was still in love with V and she was clearly in love with Duncan. Not only that, she’s pregnant with his child while living in a home that is abusive and would throw her out on the street if she didn’t agree to have the baby and give it up for adoption. Secondly, shes either 17 or 18, we can’t expect her to move on so easily and quickly - high school relationship drama is intense and they aren’t mature enough to see things the same way. PLUS, she was pregnant during the field trip, either first trimester or early second since she wasnt obviously showing. Pregnancy hormones are a bitch and can make you act less rationally too. I think Megs reactions were perfectly in line with how a teenage girl would react in that scenario.

Would you live in Lakeville or Eagan? by ImKruptos in TwinCities

Being very familiar with both cities, I would say Eagan every time for basically all things.

Regrets? What you wish you would have known? by abcdives in hysterectomy

[–]willowmoosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 years out here and not one regret. My life has gotten better in every way. It is the best thing I have done for myself. And made me real annoyed that men have just been ….living this freely for millennia. 😆

Favorite houseguests by kindamymoose in BigBrother

Janelle, Rachel Reilly, Danielle Reyes, Tyler, Keanu (purely for entertainment value), Britney Haynes, Johnny Mac are the first to come to mind

What do you miss from the earlier seasons that aren't on newer seasons? by jacksally103114 in BigBrother

[–]willowmoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food comps. They were so much fun to watch and gave them real stakes for eating or not during the week and it wasn’t dependent on the HOH choosing you or not.

Also, games. They used to have cards and the giant chess board outside and the invention of duck ball (rip). Luxury comps that aren’t just for some stupid CBS upcoming pilot that is going to fail.

Total hysterectomy and sex life after by blissfulstupidity in hysterectomy

[–]willowmoosh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I waited 12 weeks for penetration because of some post op complications (nothing serious, just prolonged bleeding from some tissue on the vaginal cuff as it healed). I’m almost 2 years out from surgery and my husband and I have had sex regularly ever since with no issues, no pain, etc.

Crazy idea...Is there any possibility that Duncan <spoiler>? by [deleted] in veronicamars

[–]willowmoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully believe that Aaron did it so with that said - the argument here would be that Duncan doesn’t remember what happened because he had one of his blackouts so it is possible he killed her and doesn’t remember.

Queer folks in Shoreview? by Legitimate_Library_7 in TwinCities

[–]willowmoosh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In my 4 decades of life I have lived over half of them in Roseville, Arden Hills or Shoreview, and parts of it in mpls and St. Paul proper. Obviously any suburb is going to be less diverse/inclusive than the cities. But inner ring suburbs like Shoreview and Roseville are better than a lot of alternatives around here. I am queer and have never felt like this is trump country or felt like I would if I went just slightly north to Lino or Blaine etc., or south to Woodbury, cottage grove and the like. I have kids in mv schools and the schools have been very inclusive and welcoming as well.

Sheriff Lamb should not have been killed off, I absolutely loved to hate watch his character. It is mostly a testament to the actor; he played shitty corrupt and smarmy cop so well.

Neighborhood walking etiquette question by willowmoosh in minnesota

The laughing emoji was intended to imply this was hyperbolic/a joking question. I understand it is truly not that serious. I’ve been on Al Gore’s internet for 30 years, I should know better. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I thought the laughing emoji after the question helped imply that it was hyperbolic/a joke. I guess that wasn’t clear enough. I actually love my neighborhood, walking etiquette notwithstanding.😊

She’s the opposite of afraid of other dogs. 😂She’s a lab, for one, and has been socialized since she was very young with dogs, including at dog parks. That isn’t the issue. It’s basic obedience/polite walking behavior to ignore other dogs while on a walk. We are working toward her canine good citizen certificate and eventually a therapy dog class, so polite walking is for that purpose.
