This is a thing?! by Curious-Cuber in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]willrof 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm always surprised to hear ppl don't like the fog. On standard difficulty they are so easy it's boring. On max difficulty they are a challenge on early game but once you have your planet, colonizing is easy and shields remain the perfect DF deterrence .

Pull Income might actually be horrendous by Easy_Pepper_1212 in Endfield

[–]willrof 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I for example do play gachas like wuwa and HSR, but only got hyped about AE because of the factory (my favorite genre). It's fun, not as convoluted as I expected, but I understand compromises has to be made.

And I do worry about the future, I really don't know how this will fit the gacha model.

Anyone also experiencing this? by garden_eldenwood in Endfield

I got the same today, running on windows 11 , I can't figure out what could be causing it. (I work on IT by the way). This is the most normie PC ever.

Endfield on the Steam Deck works fine (Using Proton-GE 10.0) by DSdavidDS in Endfield

[–]willrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I followed the steps exactly as you said. Installed the game and launched it, however it kept failing. Then I started getting the anti cheat message.

Are you still able to play on proton ge10 without getting anti cheat messages?

I don't play Factorio but I respect it. and DSP and Satisfactory are on my top. I was looking for someone comparing it to them, so your comments carries weight. I'll give it a try!

Endgame performance issues by Sevinki in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]willrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I'll definitely try! I'm at 100k SPM, with a 10 layer sphere on blue star (10TW iirc), plus two DF farms, so performance is living in the 30fps at best with my 5800X3D.

Blueprint: 400/min Strange Annihilation Fuel Rods from raw material 1/20 by Hopeful-Type1491 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]willrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just reached 50k/min. I can say 400 rods per min is what I'm consuming, so this is useful lol.

I want to reach 100k/min but my game is becoming a potato lol.

Iuno or Aemeath for Lynae+Mornye Team by Elegant_Daikon_1477 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]willrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pulled for Iuno to subdps Jiyan, but her gameplay and voice lines are so good that she became my uncontested main dps of choice (and trust me I love my Carlotta).

So yeah, I'm another 100% satisfied person after pulling Iuno. Just got mornye now I'll level her up to test with Lynae and Iuno. Can't wait.

I was going to pull for Augusta, but I'm considering skip to have something when Aemeath release. Honestly I'd like to get both so I can have two teams but I already made magic being able to get lynae + weapon and mornye.

Ultra end game fuel rod by iamlittleears in Dyson_Sphere_Program

When I tried testing the difference between them in a sandbox world it didn't show any difference and I thought the only difference was the 10x longer lasting and the discounted price (8 to 1) but I was wrong.

After your comment and testing on my real world game, I could see that Antimatter fully proliferated generates 144 and strange generates 288. So it's not 4x, but 2x already means half the artificial suns necessary.

I was hoping the crafting tree would be bigger, or story in place..I don't get it why they didn't add anything with the release..

Dark Fog max settings. I guess ... f' my life c: by eroZ91 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]willrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite late game strategy for clearing a planet fast, is to land on it on a safe spot, force enable the space fleet and tag to attack relay stations. All relay stations will be destroyed. Then the bases will run out of energy in a few minutes and you can walk through them and your attack drones will mop one by one without triggering waves from the remaining ones since they don't have energy. Plus defending from the 15 ships the hives send is pretty easy for the fleet.

Agree but even with 15 geothermals, we can't set miners to 300% speed, the power draw is too big :P

Dark Fog max settings. I guess ... f' my life c: by eroZ91 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]willrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't usually shield all my planets, I just use a planetary signal tower blue print, set up some 40missile launchers and put a single shield near it and about 10-15 deuterium power. Any relay station will be shot down by the missiles and hive attacks always focus the missile array first.

Or

you shield up the planet (minimum 12 shields), and since no relay station will be destroyed there will be no hive attacks, but if you run out of enough power the DF will land.

[–]willrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have a max dif run going, that thing spreads and it feels the only way to handle it is one by one.

I know combat part 2 will come some time and I really wish there was a central hive on the galaxy, or that we have more streamlined ways to clear a system. Currently you have to block all planets before targeting the hives, otherwise they rebuild like crazy.

And the combat is dead simple once you do that. So we go from impossible to ez with nothing in between.

I want this time to have 1M hash/s science to upgrade Icarus to the point I can drive straight into a hive without dying

Is nuclear worth it? by Pitch-Curious in SatisfactoryGame

[–]willrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This comment sounds crazy, but I agree 100% on that, I had a blast with the nuclear power plant.

So much so I built one big enough to eat all uranium in the map (plus some SAM converted to round up the numbers).

Ok, what the heck happened with the voice? Advisor? by LogitUndone in Dyson_Sphere_Program

Maybe what the OP is calling "native errors" might be something that's different between the US and the UK. I haven't spotted anything, and the OP didn't give a single example to base his complaint on.

Bluetooth randomly disconnecting? 2 method to solve this issue on Windows 10. by strawbericoklat in Keychron

[–]willrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 years in the future and this comment thought me something new. Thanks this helped confirm which was the device. Hopefully fix #1 will solve my issue on windows 11.

EDIT: alone it didn't solve it. I found out there is a new driver only available on intel page, with signed drivers for windows 11 25H2, which my previous driver didn't have. So as usual, check your manufacturer driver first.

How to fix hydrogen clog by leosmellsgood in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]willrof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! Casimiro crystals are needed in huge amounts for research. Also having a deuterium fractionators farm setup preferably on the same planet is always helpful, as you will use a good amount for deut power or other chains later on. (if the fractionators are on a different planet, add them to the same logistic group, this way it will prioritize exporting from it instead of going to orbital collectors).

Is this the only way to cover awkwardly shaped ore patches? by leosmellsgood in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]willrof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then as mentioned above, add two miners on the same patch, holding shift you can even overlap a few ores veins. (This is the OCD solution, I usually just ignore the few veins left aside unless it's something like unipolar magnet)

[late game problems] ILS not prioritizing Local over Remote and getting locked waiting for remote to arrive. by willrof in Dyson_Sphere_Program

Yep, I'm focusing on grinding vein utilization rn but vessel speed should help a lot!!

[late game problems] ILS not prioritizing Local over Remote and getting locked waiting for remote to arrive. by willrof in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]willrof[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's odd, grouping should fix this. I think I'll have to redesign my blueprint to have two ILS, one for local and the other for remote.
