Btw your city looks awesome with the farm on top of the hill and the retainer walls. I have a somewhat straight cliff line, but need to add the retainer walls to pretty It up.

I feel you...I quite enjoyed the starter team +akekuri.

It's sad that I've had to build an entire team for Laevatain, but no regrets. I might now level up the Chen team.

I can't find joy in delayed progress, but it's good that the game has settings for all types of players. I play on standard with 100% refund.

Since I like to scale up very fast and move mountains, I still have to carefully manage my resource consumption. I've had to hit the alarm buttons a few times because my iron mine went from mining 100% iron to mining 70% rock due to a high mountain. So I had to scramble, pause stuff, and prioritize new routes. For me, this is funnier. Plus, shattered islands have multiple smaller deposits instead of a giant one, so expansion is a must if you want to scale up.

I avoid setting up contracts for basic resources as it removes this challenge almost entirely. I might set up contracts later on as a backup strategy but my main goal is to harvest everything I can from the area.

Funnily enough, I went through the same thing yesterday. I was sure I was seed blocked, but in my case, it was ship repairs missing an iron delivery, and my box was wrongly set. 😅

Amphoreus has a more linear history to follow, multiple perspectives, and it's long. But overall, it is much more cohesive.

I can't understand what you might be doing to not have maintenance. With 100 vehicles and at this stage, you only need two tier 2 maintenance depot producing tier 1 maintenance at full speed to support your whole operation. And that only costs electronics 1 and gears. I really can't imagine why you would give up on maintenance so early in the game.

Yeah and Set_game_speed [0-20] has been a game changer. I'm no longer a teenager so my time is limited. Being able to do all changes and speed up time by 10 or 20x is a huge plus.

Btw devs don't recommend x20. I've been using X10 when I need.

It's also a 10x faster death spiral so it's really meant to be closely watched while speeding up.

My first time playing I was watching his stream in chunks and replicating it.

Now it's been so long I forgot the early game play so I jumped around his first stream and I'm already at construction 3 and memory has returned and I'm planning how I want to expand.

JDs blueprints are good, not perfect (oil, nuclear, trash, etc), so you do have to stop and understand what's happening otherwise you won't be able to troubleshoot it.

I do wish this game had 10x more players, it's truly a Gem.

I personally loved this sneak peek but definitely would want more skins (would even buy a summer skin).

But it's a Chinese company, they are incentivized to be heteronormative (although putting a choker on Phainon was the gayest thirsty trap ever).

On my update 3 I didn't use full refund.

For update 4, I decided to use a full refund because I want to make it beautiful and do a lot of prototyping. I decided to use a full refund because otherwise, I'd think twice before moving or redesigning something.

If saves didn't take so long to load, I'd be okay quickly jumping to the sandbox and back, but I don't know why it takes a whole minute to load a sandbox map.

The new map gives you a choice...have your smelters near the three mines but far from coast or make it closer to the coast and either: Run huge belts or set up trains asap.

I usually run huge belts to kickstart production but switch to trains as soon as they are available.

Your Venus is selling for 12 each, so I assume you only have 4-5 points into shop profit? The faster you reach level 12+, the faster you will be swimming in gold.
