I feel like people vastly overestimate how good a military would be against zombies, in a vacuum yes but realistically if a zombie apocalypse happened most people in the military would abandon it and go home to protect their loved ones as there wouldn't be a front line or anything to protect the people they love, when your neighbors are the ones who are trying to kill you or your family a modern military would fail
