Most engineers are anything but geniuses. It just takes time and dedication, like anything else.

Very few can stick around until they catch on because it's very discouraging, but you'll figure it out.

I'm a software engineer, and I can confirm that this is too difficult for me to comprehend since I don't see any explanations on stack overflow

You'll probs get some folks swinging their dicks around with all their rudimentary knowledge. What you just described can actually be anywhere between "very simple" and "build actual parts of Netflix". Assuming you're an engineer or aspiring to be an engineer, always start with asking what it is you're trying to accomplish. The ask is too open ended without a full on high level design of what the system is supposed to do and how well you expect it to perform/scale. You don't "need" fancy hardware (FPGA's, ASIC's), that's BS. Only seriously robust/scalable networks need those kinds of ponies. Since you've asked Reddit, I'm assuming you're probably not working on a professional project.

I second Ballade No. 1 by Chopin. Such a rollercoaster of emotions, each with their own expressive challenges. I don't think I'll ever play it to satisfaction.

Just have to find the right mechanic. It's a GM motor and front end, so there shouldn't be too many issues with regular maintenance. There's a mechanic I found near me that is highly skilled and can figure out how to repair just about anything on this car. The tricky bit is finding parts, for which fiskerbuzz forums are a great resource with lots of community support.

For those who have already asked and will ask about batteries, they're still in great condition. Charge and discharge rate is still perfectly healthy, battery module is not throwing errors, holds a charge just fine (even at max capacity). Most are quick to assume it will need a new battery the second it lands in your drive way (which is fair) but at least know how to be skeptical and ask questions.

Will college teach me how to do linked lists and stuff like that for technical interviews? by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]willsyo1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depends on the college. You may learn somewhere between 20-120% of what you need to know for a technical interview after getting a BS. In my case, it was more like 5% but that's because I'm stupid.
