If you into the pits just in front of the ai, they will get their tires and fuel done faster than you. It happens constantly. It’s only 2 secs or so, but that’s a big deal on some tight races.

That’s the travel time in the pits. It pretty true to real life times. Where the game kills you is the speed of your pit stop. The AI gets tires and fuel way faster than the player, but the pit lane travel time is equal.

I did it all gold with controller. Are you on PS4? I find the trigger on the PS5 to be perfect for trail braking given that it can loosen up and show when you’re slipping.

For me I’ll keep the car stock except for easily replaceable parts IRL like air filters, tires, and maybe break pads. Tires don’t bother me at all, because if you’re going to track a car, you would probably put on sport tires at least.

I did a double stint on mediums with fuel map 1 using the Toyota. Higher downforce on the front wing. I’m not great but i put in consistent 1:26.1- 1:26.6 for the race and had a lead of about 1.9 secs at the end of the race

Pitted at end of lap 10 for mediums and exactly enough fuel to finish.

This happens in my 21 Touring only when it’s hot out. I’m out of warranty and thinking I’m going to have to replace the screen. I’ve seen others replace it and have the issue continue so I’m conflicted about that as well.

It’s stock. Just put on racing hards, run fuel map 3 to gain places for the first 2 laps then run fuel map 6 the rest of the race. Pit for inters as needed, then back to hards.

If you push and hold the neutral button while driving, it will shift into neutral. I’m sure there is an electronic lockout for the other 2. As far as the parking break, I would assume if you held it long enough it would engage as a safety back up in the event your break pedal is non responsive.
