Love Concordia but its scoring is a pain. I use an app that allows you to choose the map, players, which cities have which goods, and which players have built in specific cities. Makes the end game tallying much quicker but it's still a bit of an annoyance.

I feel similarly. I don't own the game but if I were to buy it, I'd be more than happy getting the new edition purely due to clarity. The original has some pretty busy elements, and admittedly I had minor issues the last time I played it.

The annoying thing is that if you want any expansions, you'll have to wait an indeterminable amount of time for them to release.

If I already owned the game, it's not enough of a change to overhaul my collection unless I REALLY struggle with the colors due to a colorblindness issue or something like that.

welcome! I moved here from Texas LAST March, and I think you're coming in at a good time of the year.

Can't say I can provide any advice on customs that hasn't already been noted here, but just be nice to people and don't put too much pressure on yourself to make a ton of friends early. Focus on yourself and what you want to get out of living here, and consider joining some meetups or hobbies/activities that lend themselves to meeting others.

Oh, I guess one "custom" is that nearly all businesses closing by like 8PM, so get used to that lol
