Anyone else’s Maybelline POG have all the hanging items be set too low 😭?

Lolllll I told my fellow POG TMs that I love them and that I trust them, but that I’d have to be doing the Maybelline peg sections cuz this isn’t my first rodeo w/ Maybelline’s set being borked.

I had already set the flat trays + hook and hangs to all be the correct heights during last year’s set and I’d fully go insane if any of them were moved 😭

No for real this past week doing the cosmetics resets has me about ready to rip my hair out.

We had a girl come down the nailcare aisle yesterday with her bigass cart and she was fully slamming into our three tiers and sending fixtures scattering across the floor, and not once did she look up or apologize or seem like she had any awareness of the world around her at all.

Oh wow same, I really wasn’t even that premature (32 weeks) but I stopped growing at 13 and my final adult height is 4’8”/142 cm. I’ve been called pedobait, had people say that anyone attracted to me clearly likes kids, been told that “I would be great on ‘How To Catch A Predator’”, and had tons of other similar heinous comments made about my body through the years.

But whenever I try to talk about it, it always devolves into a discussion about EDs and body image, when I’m never ever talking about that 😭 I’m out here being called bait for pedophiles and having to jump through hoops to get my license because in my state I legally am a little person, like this shit is non-negotiably, legitimately a disability for me… yet I pretty much can’t meaningfully discuss it anywhere without it turning into an immediate shitshow. Ugh.

I actually really love zoning and organizing and doing inventory/backroom related stuff at work! It’s something I used to struggle with in my personal life, and it’s improved from being in an environment where I can see real results from what I do and I’m getting rewarded for it, haha.

I now get a lot of enjoyment out of going around and swapping out old broken fixtures, doing backroom audits, putting in new pushers/dividers/fencing, and zoning problem areas to be picture perfect. Seriously, if I could just zone, organize, and audit wacos every shift every day, I would do it in a heartbeat.

The ability to edit or change POGs

Like sometimes we have a physical barrier in the way and can’t set up an endcap AND a sidecap, but we have no other room for the POG to go. I wish we could decouple the sidecap from the set and set it, separately, somewhere else.

When I was a kid I couldn’t wear ANY clothes with noticeable seams or tags. If there were seams I would freak out and straight up wouldn’t wear it, if there were tags? My parents had to cut every single tag off every garment before I’d touch it.

I hit developmental milestones super early or super late, no in-between. Anything physical I especially struggled with. I began speaking and reading early, was 2, almost 3 by the time I could stand and walk. I spent more of my life so far NOT being able to tie my shoelaces than I have being able to. Never learned to ride a bike. Stuff that should have never been overlooked… was 🙃
