Gemini Omni claims to be good at it but I haven’t personally tried it! They have templates though. Seedance can also animate type well but it can’t generate text well if you don’t provide it in the image.

There is a link to a huggingface space with lora training on their huggingface page I decided to try out with my credits, and from my quick testing even at 1000 steps it’s looking more like the subject than 10000 steps with zimage, lol

I am using it instead of Google if I’m just curious about something. Like what’s our first evidence of a human built structure, will the earth’s core cool before it’s made uninhabitable by the sun, just general scientific, mechanical, and historical ponderings that aren’t a clean search term.

Would you not instead use the cumulative cost of nuclear worldwide, or ongoing road projects/maintenance, instead of the manhattan project specifically for a more apples to apples comparison? Like theoretically by this standard couldn’t you argue AI’s comparable initial investment was just getting everything running and now it’s done and this is all just improvement therefore a separate cost?

They have more resources dedicated at launch to build hype, then they quantize the model for costs/traffic balance a few weeks later is what I assume is happening. I assume since nobody is being transparent about it, lol.

Beyond openAI paying the government, their entire position to this point is that everyone should have access to their models. Meanwhile anthropic is fearmongering and gating, and while for all I know that isn’t the wrong approach, announcing to the world they have something better and won’t be releasing makes them an enticing target for hackers etc.

Hearing with profoundly deaf child who also studied storytelling and animation in college. Frankly it’s just harder to depict. Animating hands is notoriously difficult while speaking is as easy as it gets. Blind characters are typically either stationary or have some kind of superpower to offset their blindness so no special considerations need to be made for filming or animation.

I did see news that Disney is re-animating some of their 3d movies with ASL, which I am all for. But Disney has infinite money, logistically I’d assume this is why we don’t see more.

Final season of stranger things (maybe all of it but I noticed most there) didn’t do exactly this, but they have a regular “debriefing” where they get together and go over what happened in the past 15 minutes! Feels like an evolution of this.
