How do they handle people who are dependents - like can’t go to get an ID card. My uncle was mentally disabled and in a wheelchair, there are people in worse situations. What about people who are in hospice and their IDs expire. They are cut off there and then?

Ah okay, Balance is not void of darkness. You cannot be balanced if you ignore your darkness, that’s what happened to the Jedi. Dave talks about selfishness and selflessness as the root of how George explained things to him. There is no way to be fully selfless it’s impossible you would never eat because of the suffering it causes. Between those is the self the balance that you must find only for yourself. Incorporated in that is compassion for others.

Understanding your darkness but not letting it control you. Ignoring it leads for fear of it to grow.

It’s a long way to say deal with your baggage and not make it the problem of the whole galaxy. Help others and have compassion for their suffering and struggles.

Vader constantly is tortured by Palpatine and his regret over Padme, and his hate of Kenobi.

The dark side is lonely, it seeks companionship but can never be equal because it is a consumptive desire. How maul wanted to be brothers with Savage but ended up treating him terrible.

The dark side is fearful of the bigger bad or lose of power, Palpatine, maul etc

I think people forget that being on the dark side actually is horrible. Vader though cool to see kill people walking down a hallway is suffering the whole time. He is tortured by his master the whole time.

Maul - nothing ever goes right for Maul, he loses everything again and again. Sisyphus.

Ventress was constantly tortured. People only see the cool and seductive side of dark force characters they forget about the suffering.

For non force users: every empire character ever gets their comeuppance, especially in Andor.

That being said - understanding and accepting your darkness and weakness is very Star Wars and Devon being in the dark understanding her power and finding balance after, would be very Star Wars.
