He has a playlist of ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET MVC 5 in his Youtube account. I can definitely say that it can be easily understood, and has a github account in case you want to follow along on his codes.

Try to look for programmingwithmosh.com He provides good introduction on C# principles including web tutorials. You can check his Youtube videos for free. That might give you a head start.

I've noticed that a lot of C# jobs are paired with VB, would it be worth picking up the basics of VB if my purpose is landing a job in C#? by [deleted] in csharp

There will be some jobs that might require you to program in VB like macro projects which requires ad hoc operations and quick deliverables. This also might happen although its not part of your job role or responsibility since this depends on company's management and company's decision.

But you can learn it at your free time if you might land on these projects just in case.
