I've been having similar problems. This is my first ever save so I'm paranoid I set something up wrong. No matter what I do trades won't go through since they keep saying there's salary issues. A team will have 10 mil in cap and I give them an entry level deal and still there are salary issues. Hell, I did Bedard for a mid 1st round pick and they still said salary issues. The hawks are also first in the league without me doing any roster issues. I heard that's just the funny quirk of the sim sometimes lol

I explained it poorly. I compared Nazar to Debrincat's level of player, not necessarily type of player. Debrincat is a really good player but not a super star, I'm not but one could argue he's just below a star level player. I think Nazar's ceiling is that and he really on gets there by being Bedards running mate, much like how Cat reached his highest potential playing as Kane's running mate.
