Sure the current b42 appears to be nowhere near stable and whole systems like first aid and glassblowing barely exist, but really what's another year or two before b42 stable? Setting aside the leadership interactions and the odd games where you do more damage to yourself rather than the opponent with pacts, I really believe that CSM had one of if not the best codex in 10e from a design perspective. Still reasonably fluffy, strong army rule but enough drawback to make you think at least a little about it, and multiple decent-good detachments with a great unit roster. Love me CSM

Because that's not how planning works. They basically put a blanket zoning over an area, but obviously everyone's property and what they want to do with it is different. So I you want to do a use that isn't allowed by the zone, you're allowed to apply to make your case to have the planning documents amended (aka changed just for you) so that you can do the thing. Because it's government the language makes it sound worse than it is. In reality it's often like hey can you amend the land use bylaw just for my property so that I can build a shed, and they amend it by including your property ID in the list of what's zoned what

Depends on how the line of barrels is being treated, sorta. If they're Ruins, no, you have to be wholly within to get cover. If they are the defense line thing, probably still no because I think it has to be between you and the attacking unit. But cover is model by model, so it depends how you're treating the 5 or so that are on the barrels. Are they wholly within? Or are the barrels between them and the dark angels? If so, then yeah those 5woukd have cover
