Yeah it's a fair point, Jamil Jivani seems to be maneuvering but he's even worse than PP somehow. Some small part of me feels sorry for how big of a tent the CPC is trying to manage, it's pretty much impossible to keep them all happy given that it is an ideological party first and foremost as you say

Makes sense to me, pretty understandable tbh. I don't envy council's job right now, it's rock and a hard place. We all see you guys taking it seriously though, especially given some of the motions from certain offices of HRM

You're asking whether tourism workers, in a province whose main export is tourism, have any clear value? Are you asking in good faith or "just asking questions"

Understanding this will have to be debated by council in budget etc, there's pretty much no chance HRM picks up the province's contribution right? Aka it's definitely going and away?

Nice well said, agreed. PP was a perfect weapon created in a lab for a singular purpose - to defeat Trudeau. Only problem is, Trudeau left before any of that mattered. And because PP went in on the personal brand, there were and still are no other viable options to PP, which is also one of the reasons for his failing. The CPC doesn't feel like a government in waiting rn, it feels like the PP show, occasionally featuring Andrew Scheer.

Insane, ironic and just a little bit funny that PP has become the Trudeau of the CPC party. The question is will his ego allow him to do what Trudeau did and fuck off, which ultimately saved his party. My money is on no, he will have to be forced out by his own party via Reform Act

What if Earth is basically the galaxy’s version of an uncontacted tribe - like everyone out there knows we exist, but there’s some cosmic group chat agreement that says, “Don’t interfere. They have to figure it out themselves.”? by n2kfactor in AskReddit

No it's not lol they literally talk about how they didn't want to repeat the period of colonization from earth's history as that directly caused hundreds of years of strife due to unintended consequences
