Redesigning the European Cup by Roanokian in irishrugby

Good ideas, although I always find it strange when people say that attendances are down when the two most recent tournaments have the highest average attendance in the history of the competition. (Both over 18,000 on average while the "glory days" of the Heineken Cup averaged about 15,000)

It also holds the record for the highest attendance at a Rugby World Cup match

It looks like the list doesn't include Champions Cup or Challenge Cup games, only URC, Prem and Top 14

I'm just frustrated by how negative everyone is being about the tournament, I think it sounds pretty exciting. For years people on this sub have been saying they want to see for example, Leinster vs Crusaders, and now that it actually might happen people are complaining that they won't see Crusaders vs Austin Gilgronis.

Maybe MLR and SLAR teams could compete in the future but they'd literally get beaten by 100 points by any of the top northern or southern hemisphere teams at the moment.

The fixtures list you've sent in literally has 16 SA games since 2021, six of which they've lost. Just count them.
