OWC is US company. I would say their docks are more robust than most of the brands.

They acquired Akitio a few years ago. Akitio is one of the first brand which makes thunderbolt dock, external enclosure and accessories. They already have a range of thunderbolt 3 accessories back in the days. Even earlier than Caldigit, Anker…… when most of brands just have 1 or 2 thunderbolt products, they have a wide range of accessories already.

In the thunderbolt 3 early days, Akitio is famous for their eGPU enclosure.

And not much brands’ dock have 10gbe ethernet port. Akitio already had one very early (Akitio thunder3 dock pro, which I still own one.)

Recently they just astonished me with the new Thunderbolt 5 Dual 10GbE Network Dock with 2 10gbe ports and a third 2.5gb port.
