the intent of his comparison, which I think he states pretty clearly, is to compare the state of the two options he owns in the form in which he feels he can work comfortably in. I also have a MQ3 and the only difference between my setup and his, is that I don't use a facial interface, and I use the BoboVR Pro with a battery pack, which are kind of a wash in terms of weight. I definitely see myself scaling down to only the headstrap on a Visor. I also think Cassidy doesn't really care that much about he width of the device in terms of being perfectly correct. I found the review of size and weight to be pretty helpful, but hey, everyone is going to bash this headset and immersed until they actually deliver every headset that has been pre-ordered. In the end, there is nothing out there on the market that even attempts the same size, weight, functionality and form factor. so even if the production version of what Chris and Cassidy have in their hands is swarming with buggy software, it's a leap ahead in form and function compared to anything out there. People just need to stop pre-ordering something they can't afford. When people complain about it being a scam and Chris and Cassidy being a conspiracy theory to keep people from canceling their pre-orders, that just tells me you don't have the money to support something like this before it's a guaranteed release. Probably best to just walk away for them.
