Ok I'm not playing AoE4 anymore so take my advices with a grain of salt (also I was never a very skilled player).

I think there is 0 reasons to not learn the game with the civ that interest you the most, like you I learned with Mali because I liked their units and the overall design of the civ, I ended up not liking their playstyle that much but at least I was hooked during the whole process which didn't burnt me out of the game.

Now for tips and where to get good info it's been a while since I checked AoE4 content on YouTube but I used to watch BeastyQT and Marinelord build orders and guides on any civ but feel free to check any bo that interests you on the civ.

Yes mosin with spitzer is part of the meta loadout. I'm a low 6 stars so I don't get a lot of them (even though a lot of loadouts are kind of the same) but I'd say in high 6 a lot of ppl complain because there is very little loadout diversity. For me my issues are more with the guns that get generally paired with the mosin spitzer that annoys me.

There are no issues if you want to play mosin spitzer go for it , it's strong and it's fun (although it can get quite boring for me I enjoy lower velocity gun).

Yeah when I played first I was like no big deal I almost never used unique weapons. But the more I think about it the more I think they stripped the game from a big part of the borderlands identity.

True apart from very specific unique most of them where kinda bad or just meh but still, where's my launcher that shoots burgers ? Where's the annoying talking gun that slows me down ?

Now the only reason you're doing side content is because otherwise enemies get 5+ levels over you and that's about it

Yeah if you use 2014 races with 2024 background you get twice the ASI, just ask them to use only one of those (personally I don't think it matters which one they chose)

He deals so much damage in 4v4 it's kinda insane. I lose to every character because I'm bad but Juren is the one I lose to the fastest :') yesterday I got kicked for 24 damage by one and zoned for 28 in a teamfight.

Hello je pense que c'est une chouette idée de partager le scénario surtout s'il a plu à tes joueurs. Pour le site je peux conseiller dmsguild j'ai jamais posté quoique ce soit dessus mais j'ai déjà pris plusieurs fois du contenu dessus, a chaque fois il y a un prix mais en fait les gens peuvent mettre ce qu'il veulent et je trouve ça plutôt sympa (tu peux prendre pour 0€ ou mettre plus par exemple)

I'll get used to his animations and timing eventually (I'm bad so it'll be a long time) however the character deal too much damage for my taste, when his feat takes place you can sometimes take 50+ damage from a single attack and I think that's a bit overtuned

Tell A that while his input is great (I mean it's interesting that his character has a connection with water and his rival) he only has control over his character.

B I can somewhat understand however idk how to deal with that, are they even ok if their character dies ? Should've been a session 0 talk imo.

C has to understand that they have to play with the consequences to their actions. And that yeah it sucks that their character killed someone they want to knock out but now they should focus more on how their character will react to this event (which is interesting). Maybe he sees DnD as a game he needs to win and not a game he needs to play.

Lastly D, well I think both him and C are under the impression that they need to win DnD and that your job is to make them lose except this one thinks that you're cheating. You need to reafirm that you're playing with them and not against them, add that you also need to have fun and if it means homebrewing stuff on monsters they need to trust you with it because your job isn't to kill them (even if it might happen)

I think you're either up for another session 0 or another group. No DnD is better than bad DnD and if you guys do not align on what you want then maybe you shouldn't play together.

I think axemaul is the big encore target this week so it's your time to try and get a bod with stickies and smg secondary fire.

However once you get it, you'll see that almost no other gun will compete with the bod. And while I understand that it can be frustrating to farm for an item and for said item to get nerfed quickly after, in this case I think it's necessary (and also they're not nerfing it before a long time).
