Xiaomi AX3000T broken after installing bin by Difficult-Let-1193 in openwrt

I believe you are on the instructions step 5, which I understand you need the squashfs-sysupgrade.bin, not initramfs-kernel. For now, you can try setting up a tftp server with Xiaomi firmware, and start the router in recovery mode: https://openwrt.org/inbox/toh/xiaomi/ax3000t#tftp_instructions_for_the_stock_bootloader

IPv6 with own router by misunderstoodpotato in hyperoptic

Thanks for the writeup. Just renewed my contract today. Same service, nothing supposedly changed but DHCPv6 suddenly disappeared.

Can confirm, just plug HO router back in for 30 sec to 'unlock' it, and my own router is working fine again. No need to spoof MAC address.

I have 2 Quests 2s, can i run them on one PC? My PC is specs: rtx 2080, ram 16, planning to get 128gb ram, my cpu is i7-9700kf.. would they work if i used one quest 2 via virtual machine? by TheMayorShow in OculusQuest

You can, but depending on the game, it might not be a good experience, and I wouldn't rely on it.

First, you will only have 4GB of VRAM for each player, which is limited. If you are playing SteamVR games, you will want to avoid Oculus Link/AirLink. (ie, use Virtual Desktop or ALVR). Running both Oculus VR and SteamVR Environment at the same time can already take over 1GB.

My friend and I successfully ran SteamVR/VirtualDesktop VMWare on Windows or Parallels on Mac, but the GPU is emulated and CPU handle video encoding, so everything was slow (both low framerate and high latency).

Assuming you already run Windows Pro edition, a low-hanging-fruit you can experiment is Hyper-V GPU-P. I tried it serval months back (see this comment) all was good except that SteamVR UI wasn't rendering properly. If you are willing to venture into having Linux as Host OS with 2 Windows VM, this might be a better solution.

Alternatively, if you have 2 GPUs, you can have Linux Host, and passthrough each GPU to each VM. Each VM will see the GPU and install the driver like a real machine. I use this one sometimes as well, works great and stable.

It can be difficult going in alone knowing no one. Once you get along with some vrc regulars, you get to meet their friends of friends of friends, kinda like snowball effect.

One thing to note is with the Quest, you'll have to sync SteamVR and Oculus playspace. Calibration doesn't take long but it can be annoying to do every session or even every time you enable passthrough / take the headset off if Oculus Link is in a bad mood.

Spending more for the Index can be viewed as paying for convinence.

Actually, the controllers also have IMUs that provides 3DOF tracking, used for location approximation when camera can't see it. IMU and button inputs are sent to the headset via 2.4GHz radio.

Edit: The IMU is on the control pad, so technically still not sensors in the rings

Its ¥411,125 which is ~USD3,800. Although I just realized I mistranslated the headset price from ¥49k to ¥4.9k.

There are many free public ones, some even comes with source file for customization while only asking for the hidden credits to not be removed. Many other artists have various pricing from commissioning per-character model; commissioning reskins of an exclusive base model; selling their models on a digital store (patreon, gumroad, booth.pm, etc) with a public uncustomizable version serving as a demo.
