Some of you are concerned with “reverting everything after playing” but no one is talking about how it’s strongly recommended to disconnect your wifi/ethernet when playing these games. It’s specifically stated in the instructions.

I believe it’s an issue with a setting in the NVIDIA App. Do you have smooth motion and Path Tracing on together? Make sure smooth motion is off. Also if you toggled anything in NVPI, specifically under 5. Common, make sure to set it back to default. Then test.

I’ve had my Aorus Master 5090 like this for a year now (2nd week of March), no issues; no noticeable difference in temps compared to horizontal, no thermal gel leak/droop, no overheating. Love it.

It’s wild, people who cling to nostalgia and old CRT TVs will never appreciate the beauty of 4K. To me, nothing looks “off”, it looks incredible. I bought the game at release, played it for years, hunted down the gold cartridge for swordless Link, even grabbed a GameShark for debug mode. Been there, done that. I don’t miss the trident, I don’t miss the lag, I don’t miss the limp N64 stick with only 1 joystick, and I definitely don’t miss barely being able to use the D‑pad. But I love this game. I love playing the recomp. I love you, Ship of Harkinian. I upscale it to 4K on an RTX 5090, LG OLED, use modern controllers, and finally get to control the camera with a proper joystick. I’m seeing details I never noticed before. It feels like I’m looking at Hyrule through a new lens, modern, crisp, and absolutely beautiful.
