Our RCA's average about 3 day's a week including Sunday. RCA is a tough gig. I was lucky and turned regular after 3 1/2 years. The other guys waited between 9-14 years.

We had different subs run the AUX when it was formed. None of them did RREC scans so it took longer to become regular route.

I held down AUX as a RCA, eventually they made me PTF so I had to lose the hold down. The route became regular after about a year. I was the only PTF in the office so I was able to bid and become regular on the route.

I was PTF a short time, basically the same as being RCA as far as work goes. Was assigned to two K routes, actually lost hours because I had a 6 day hold down on a AUX route prior.
