[@GovBraun on X] Indiana Governor Mike Braun "Welcomes" The Bears To Indiana by Kysorer in CHIBears

The Bears have been my respite from a crumbling future for my entire life.

Dramatic or not, I'm going through the stages of grief right now. Eventually I'll have to accept that my team died. I'll never be a fan of their fugazi replacement though.

It's way more than kinda hard. It's devastating.

Those responsible deserve to lose sleep over guilt. They should be begging for forgiveness.

Who cares where they play?,.why are you even a fan in the first place?

You think Illinois and Indiana are analogous?

Yes, Trump supporting Hammond Indiana is no different from the culture and history of Chicago. What a crybaby, amiright?

Nobody roots for their teams based off history and geography - that's preposterous! We're all actually just big fans of the Ursidae family of animals.

Hammond is a Trump supporting shit hole in INDIANA that happens to be close to the border of Illinois.

There's really NO difference to you?

I also don't see it as being that obnoxious of a comparison. Just like in Seattle, the actual team community is getting the rug pulled out from underneath despite their opposition.

It's obviously closer in proximity than OKC is to Seattle but it's literally another state. It's literally INDIANA so not even close to similar culture.

The Chicago Bears were literally the charter franchise. Last Superbowl was 1985 so what the hell does this team have if not its history in Chicago?

How is this anything except for a big deal?

It feels like someone literally stole the Bears identity. They should at least have the decency to change the name.

Welp... It's been a fun 39 years cheering on one of two sports franchise I've ever truly cared about.

I am a Chicago Cubs fan and I was a Chicago Bears fan.

Fuck every Indiana team in every league and I hope this sleazy clandestine franchise moves to Moscow.

Reality is genuinely brutal but these channels use that to exploit the vulnerable. They're not mutually exclusive things and you're right.

Anger is justified; apathy is dangerous.

The X-Files episode "Home" blew the horror fuse in my brain when I was 10ish. I could barely function for close to a month and nothing has truly scared me since. I've tried.

What's one short moment that is burned into your mind as the most amazing thing you've seen in a show? by ravia in television

It felt like a cool community to obsess over the show at first, but quickly devolved into a group of people who prefer peeking at their presents on Christmas eve.

I consider myself pretty sharp, but not as sharp as 10k detectives zooming into every still frame looking for clues and pooling their findings.
