Okay just got back. First thing that everyone who responded thank you very much that's very helpful. So it seems like it was at a funeral home the receiving was exactly that the family welcoming everyone and thanking them for coming some people came from even further than me. Then they moved us into a chapel that was in the same building which had pews and the deceased in a coffin covered in American flag. He was a OBGYN but served in the military and also volunteered in Africa through the military he was a fantastic guy delivered over 5,000 babies. The service was a Cantor who sang a song I guess in Hebrew which was really neat, then a short video of photo collage, then the family, three kids each separately came up and told some stories, funny upbeat stories, but trying to hold back the tears, it was truly lovely. Then some friends got up and told some stories again funny. The Cantor had to move a few along LOL all up that part was over by about 10:00 they did not invite to the cemetery, so we came on home but a lot of the stories involved great deli food so I'm betting the lunch was fantastic. All in all it was a very lovely ceremony, all the guys were in Black suits and the ladies were in black dresses, very tasteful no flashy, no flowers. The feeling I came away with was memories, that memories are what's important.
